Hannah started working with By Hand Serial as a social media manager, but quickly added her other skills to the business and became Production Editor with Lookbook 10: Montana. She took over the business in 2021, and now presides over all things By Hand Serial.

Jenn Bakos joined our team with Lookbook 11: New Hampshire & Vermont, and hasn’t looked back. We love Jenn’s style and how it has given By Hand Serial a signature look and feel.

Alice Clemans

Technical Editing & Design

Alice has been a member of our team since very early on with By Hand Serial, and helps shape our pattern process. She edits, grades and test sews each pattern, and occasionally creates new designs for our issues and collections.

Meaghan Corwin

Meaghan is also a long-term team member, editing and guiding our designers into producing the high quality knitting patterns for our issues and collections.

Andrea Hungerford

Founder, Original Writer & Design Consultant

Andrea launched the original By Hand Serial series in 2016 and directed, created and wrote the books through Lookbook 15: Rhode Island. In 2021, she transferred the business to Hannah and now works with our team as a designer, writer and consultant. When she’s not traveling, she’s exploring her new home in Maine.

Whitney is an accomplished sewist with a pulse on current trends and the needs of modern wardrobe makers. We’re excited to have her helping us with our design planning and execution.
