Red Sandalwood (not the scented kind) produces a bright orange-red dye bath that I was hoping would yield colors just as strong! I saved the paste in case I need to use it again later, but the results were surprising--check them out on our Season of

Rainbow of naturally dyed color from trees on cotton and linen--yes please! I'm amazed at the range of color achieved by these little experiments and can't wait to dive in deeper and prep some fabric for quilting this fall.⁠

Yesterday's Season of Color post revisited our Lookbook 12: London visit with @botanicalinks Babs Behan. Babs has been working within her Bristol community to perpetuate conscious, local textile production, educate about natural dyes and supply artis
