Digital Knitting Pattern: Gander Cardigan

$12.50

Every wardrobe needs a classic cardigan. Revisit this staple garment in beautiful simplicity: you’ll want a stack of one in every color.

Sizing:

This garment offers 12 sizes: XS - 8X, represented as XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL)(3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL, 7XL, 8XL) with an approximate chest measurement of 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42)(44, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)”. Shown on our model and designer Andrea (size M) with approximately 1/4” of positive ease. Review the schematic image included in this pattern to best determine your size.

About the Yarn:

The two yarns used for these samples are slightly grabby, 100% wool yarns, but don’t let that be a restriction on your yarn choices. Fingering weights with a wool-heavy blend or primary fiber that will add structure are best--avoid anything with too much drape, stretch or slinkiness as it will sag out of shape. Seek something sturdy!

Border Mill North Coast Tweed 4-Ply, 100% Shetland Wool, 392 yd (358 m) per 100 gram skein, colorway Isle of Ewe - used for the longer version sample shown.

Uist Wool Las, 100% Wool, 180 yd (165 m) per 50 g skein, colorway Corca used for the shorter version sample shown.

You will receive a digital PDF file to download via email to your inbox within 24 hours: check the spam folder before reaching out about missing patterns. Downloads are timed and expire after 24 hours.
