This garment offers 12 sizes: XS - 8X, represented as XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL)(3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL, 7XL, 8XL) designed to fit an approximate chest measurement of 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42)(44, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)”. Shown on our model and designer Andrea (size M) with approximately 4” of positive ease (built into each size). Review the schematic image included in this pattern to best determine your size.

About the Yarn:

Look for yarns that have a bit of structure to them, not those that flop or have excessive drape, or you’ll lose what makes this pullover so charming in the recommended, 100% Cheviot wool yarn.

Uist Wool / Solas DK, 100% Cheviot Wool, 257 yd (235 m) per 100 g skein, shown in light.

Red Sandalwood (not the scented kind) produces a bright orange-red dye bath that I was hoping would yield colors just as strong! I saved the paste in case I need to use it again later, but the results were surprising--check them out on our Season of
Rainbow of naturally dyed color from trees on cotton and linen--yes please! I'm amazed at the range of color achieved by these little experiments and can't wait to dive in deeper and prep some fabric for quilting this fall.⁠
